Job Title: Cost Controller – Food & Beverage (Jounieh)
Location: Jounieh, Lebanon (preferably candidate living near Jounieh)
Industry: F&B / Restaurant
Must have at least 2 years of experience in COST CONTROLE IN FNB
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor food, beverage and consumable cost-lines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Conduct regular stock counts (kitchen, warehouse, outlets) and reconcile with system/records.
• Ensure menu recipes and costings are accurate and kept up to date.
• Analyse variances (e. g. , wastage, pilferage, portion control), investigate discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Work closely with kitchen, purchasing, operations and finance teams to optimise cost efficiency.
• Prepare cost reports for management and contribute to budgeting/forecasting.
• Ensure internal procedures and controls are followed (inventory, purchasing, stock transfers).
• Support continuous improvement of cost control processes/systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Previous experience (preferably 2–5 years) in cost control or similar role within the F&B restaurant industry.
• Understanding of food & beverage operations and cost control metrics (food cost %, beverage cost %, waste, etc. ).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel) and ideally cost/inventory tracking software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across departments.
