Department: Showroom / Sales Reports To: Showroom Supervisor / Branch Manager Job Summary The Showroom Sales Associate is responsible for selling bakery items, French pastries, and moajanat while delivering excellent customer service. The role focuses on product presentation, customer assistance, order handling, and maintaining hygiene and display standards in the showroom. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection. Promote bakery items, French pastries, and moajanat based on customer preferences. Explain ingredients, freshness, and product varieties when needed. Prepare, pack, and label customer orders accurately. Ensure pastry displays are attractive, well stocked, and clean. Monitor product freshness and follow FIFO standards. Coordinate with the kitchen/production team for product availability. Handle cash or POS transactions accurately (if applicable). Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of counters, displays, and work areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times. Requirements & Skills Previous experience in bakery, pastry shop, or food retail is preferred. Good communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of bakery products, French pastries, and moajanat is an advantage. Neat appearance and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure during peak hours. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Working Conditions Standing for extended periods. Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays. Direct contact with food products (strict hygiene required).
