Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time About Us: The Nook, is a cozy and vibrant space where great coffee meets delicious, freshly made food. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated team member to join us in creating exceptional sandwiches, breakfast items, and baked goods and more for our customers. Key Responsibilities: • Food Preparation: Assemble sandwiches, prepare breakfast items, and follow recipes with precision to ensure consistent quality. • Baking: Prepare simple cakes and baked goods as per the menu. • Customer Interaction: Engage warmly with customers, answer questions, and take feedback while delivering outstanding service. • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. • Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring ingredients are fresh and readily available. • Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours. • Willingness to Learn: Be open to developing new skills, experimenting with recipes, and growing within the role. Requirements: • A passion for food and a genuine love for serving customers. • Prior experience in food preparation or a willingness to learn quickly. • Ability to follow recipes accurately and produce high-quality results. • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for interacting with customers. • Commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards. • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including mornings and weekends.
