Job Summary
The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests. She is responsible for welcoming customers, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a positive and smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage reservations and waiting lists.
Escort guests to their tables or seating areas.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth guest flow.
Provide guests with basic information about the menu, promotions, or offers.
Handle guest inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting area.
Monitor guest satisfaction and report any issues to management.
Follow company service standards and professional appearance guidelines.
Requirements & Skills
Previous experience as a hostess or in customer service is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods.
Basic knowledge of reservation systems is a plus.
Working Conditions
Standing for long periods.
Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.
