Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in Bauchrieh, Beirut. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking transactions, processing invoices, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role requires collaboration with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and streamlined operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as prosoft and dolphin, along with advanced MS Excel skills
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prior experience in a similar role or in the trading or distribution industry is a plus
Familiarity with Lebanese tax and financial regulations is highly desirable
