Rare pair of original British Mandate–era letters, dated February–March 1948, issued by the Custodian of Enemy Property (Palestine) in Jerusalem and addressed to Michael G. Khoury, Haifa.
The correspondence concerns property in Block 40, Parcel 26A – Haifa and references the status of rents and ownership under the Custodian of Enemy Property Office, a British administration body created before the end of the Mandate in 1948.
Typed on official stationery, both letters bear stamps and original signatures just weeks before the British withdrawal from Palestine and the establishment of Israel.
A highly collectible piece of pre-1948 Palestine administrative history, valuable for historians, archivists, or collectors of Middle Eastern or Mandate-period documents.
