These are collectible porcelain plates from the Franklin Porcelain series titled "Die Märchen der Brüder Grimm" (The Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm). Each plate measures 20.4 cm in diameter, 2.5 cm in height, and weighs approximately 300 grams.
This specific design is called "Die zertanzten Schuhe" ("The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes"), based on the classic Grimm fairy tale. Produced in West Germany in 1978, it was part of a limited edition collection showcasing scenes from Grimm’s stories, richly illustrated with gold-trimmed borders and vibrant fairy-tale imagery.
These plates are both decorative and collectible, especially valued by fans of European folklore and vintage porcelain.
