Antique 19th Century Ottoman / Belgian Percussion Pistol (Circa 1860)
Authentic mid-1800s black-powder percussion pistol manufactured in Liège, Belgium and exported to the Ottoman Empire. This type of pistol was widely carried by travelers and merchants across Middle Eastern trade routes.
Features: • Single-shot muzzle-loading percussion pistol
• Original hammer and working lock mechanism (cocks and releases)
• Engraved lock plate with Belgian export scrollwork
• Walnut stock with iron fittings
• Belt hook / lanyard ring on grip
• Approx. 36–40 cm overall length
Condition: Antique display condition with original patina and wear.
Surface oxidation consistent with age.
Ramrod missing and wood shows age cracking near the lock.
