Description
Key Responsibilities
- Submit drawings and designs for components or kits to be manufactured in the main workshop in Lubumbashi.
- Plan and organize the team’s work schedule in terms of materials and labor.
- Allocate resources efficiently by assigning machines and labor to each job.
- Assist in procurement planning by preparing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each job according to inspection reports.
- Take measurements for line boring jobs in order to prepare accurate quotations for customers.
- Set up and operate line boring machines to required specifications and tolerances.
- Supervise work progress and update planning schedules accordingly.
- Monitor team performance and immediately report any deviations that may affect planning.
- Establish and follow KPIs to analyze planned versus actual performance.
- Review processes to ensure all workflow activities are executed efficiently.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety measures and operational guidelines by all team members.
- Submit daily reports to the Operations or Site Manager, or as requested by customers.
- Assist in managing daily operational activities.
- Support the Site Manager in developing departments, improving processes, and resolving operational issues.
Technical Requirements / Skills
- Good understanding of welding and boiler making processes.
- Ability to take accurate measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
