Description
Main Function
To perform general accounting functions and maintain accounting records. To carry out other related duties in daily administration of accounting department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work according to the company’s quality management system documentations.
2. Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, setting new accounts.
3. Reconcile monthly bank statements, verify all deposits and handle discrepancies.
4. Oversee accounts receivables collection and reconcile customers’ accounts.
5. Perform accounts payable duties such as verifying all invoices for payment and ensure that expenditures are charged to appropriate accounts.
6. Update records for fixed assets and all other financial documents as necessary
7. Prepare bank deposit and/or transfer slips, L/C’s and L/G’s.
8. File monthly reports on all financial developments and activities of the firm including monitoring of budgets.
9. Conduct monthly physical inventory spot-and-check with designated personnel.
10. Control stock movement electronically (material received, material issues, material returned to stock).
11. Assist outside auditors during yearly visit.
12. Fill-in VAT forms.
13. Assist CEO in statistics & studies.
14. Sends out on yearly basis accounts confirmation to all suppliers, customers and banks
