SEEKING SALESPERSON (ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES) Experience Required: 2 years or more Education Required: School Employment Type: Full-time Seller Type: Individual 1. Job Description • Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations to customers by balancing the company’s priorities and customers’ needs to include selling display ideas, new products, shelf, drink and wine lists, and promotions. • Utilizing pricing and promotion strategies, marketing opportunities, servicing, merchandising, and brand category management skills • Complete daily reports detailing the clients visited and the details of their meeting • Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern • Maintains product levels in accounts by taking inventory and restocking shelves (merchandising) • Obtains payments for company by collecting and delivering checks or other remittance from accounts • Maintains professional relationships with all suppliers by participating in effective supplier work with sales calls • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations • Develop strong account relationships by identifying and fulfilling customer needs and maintaining routine contact with key decision makers. • Merchandise retail accounts, utilize POS and display materials; request and maintain the best possible positioning of wines in accounts including floor displays and by-the-glass/cocktail placements • Continue to build deep wine and spirits knowledge, specifically regarding the company’s portfolio, and ability to educate customers on the portfolio • Strategizes/preplans on how best to achieve sales and merchandising objectives by understanding company pricing and product programming information on a monthly basis and maintaining accurate historical account purchase information. • Ensures maximum brand visibility within accounts by using effective and current point of sale materials when appropriate. 2. Working hours (depending on routing) 3. Requirements: a. The Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the sales of supplier brands to the trade through effective territory planning, selling, merchandising and communication that enables the achievement of company b. Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern c. Enthusiasm and passion for wine. You must be a great storyteller. d. Experience working in wine (restaurant, retail, or wholesale), and wine knowledge e. Self-motivation and ability to work independently f. Strong organizational skills g. Ability to lift up to 20 kgs h. Solicits business by personally visiting clients, attempting to interest prospective buyers and explaining the merit of product and its application. i. Keeps information on competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies. Informs company of competitive activity and conditions that would affect company interests. j. Investigates and resolves customer complaints in accordance with company policy. k. Prepares price quotations, delivery dates and service obligations.
