This is a 5 Reichsmark coin from Nazi Germany, dated 1934.
•Front (obverse): Shows the Reichsadler (Imperial Eagle) and the text “Deutsches Reich” with the year 1934 and denomination “5 Reichsmark. ”
•Back (reverse): Depicts the Luther Church in Wittenberg (Lutherkirche), issued to commemorate the 450th birthday of Martin Luther.
This coin was minted during the Third Reich era and made of 90% silver. Because of the historical context, they can be of interest to coin collectors, but they also carry the stigma of being from Nazi Germany.
