Description
Job Description: The Customer Support Agent is responsible for delivering prompt, helpful, and empathetic support to users of the food and grocery delivery platform. The role includes handling incoming inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. This position requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries through chat, phone, email, or social media channels in a professional and timely manner. Resolve complaints related to orders, delays, payments, cancellations, and app functionality. Coordinate with internal departments (dispatch, restaurants, drivers, operations) to resolve ongoing issues efficiently. Ensure accurate documentation of each interaction in the internal system. Follow up with customers to confirm resolution and satisfaction when required. Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate team leader or department. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers effectively. Meet individual performance metrics including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction. Support in identifying common user issues and propose improvements to processes or policies. Stay updated on company policies, campaigns, and system updates. Required Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in e-commerce, delivery, or tech platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication in [required languages, e. g. , Arabic and English]. Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, empathetic attitude under pressure. Ability to work in shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed. Fast typing and familiarity with support platforms (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, etc. ) is a plus. Good knowledge of mobile apps and basic troubleshooting steps. Team player with a positive and service-oriented attitude. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Optional/Preferred Skills: Experience in food delivery or ride-hailing apps. Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems.
