Description
Position Overview The Claims and Operations Coordinator will serve as the link between clients, insurance companies, and the workshop team. This role involves managing insurance claims from start to finish, overseeing daily workshop operations, and ensuring timely payroll processing for workers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling administrative and operational tasks within a fast-paced automotive environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Insurance Claims & Client Handling • Receive clients and open insurance claim files for vehicles entering the workshop. • Communicate with insurance companies to send repair estimates and obtain approvals. • Coordinate with surveyors for vehicle damage assessments. • Follow up on pending claims, payments, and approvals. • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is properly filed. Workshop & Operations Support • Supervise daily attendance of workshop employees. • Prepare and process weekly payroll for workers. • Coordinate between the workshop and front office to ensure smooth operations. • Support the workshop manager with administrative tasks and reporting. • Ensure timely invoicing and submission to insurance companies and clients. Administrative Duties • Draft and send professional emails to clients and insurance partners. • Manage and update internal databases and claim tracking sheets. • Handle basic accounting entries related to claims, invoices, and payroll. • Support general office tasks when needed. ________________________________________ Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree • 2–4 years of experience in administrative or operations coordination (automotive or insurance field preferred). • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and follow-up. • Knowledge of automotive repair processes or insurance claims is a plus.
