Description
Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and bakery products according to company recipes and quality standards.
Oversee the daily operations of the assigned pastry section and ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure all products are prepared consistently and presented to company standards.
Monitor ingredient quality and report any shortages or quality concerns.
Assist in developing new pastry items and seasonal menu offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation at all times.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients following FIFO procedures.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Operate and maintain pastry equipment safely and efficiently.
Supervise, train, and support Commis Chefs and junior pastry staff.
