Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Purchasing Manager, located in Bauchrieh, Lebanon. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing purchase orders, keeping track of proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packings lists and maintaining accurate records of inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, and daily interactions with the sales team and drivers to make sure they can do their job in the best possible way. Coordination with other departments to meet company goals will also be a key part of the daily tasks.
Qualifications
Experience in purchasing, inventory management, and negotiating with suppliers
Strong analytical skills and understanding of market trends
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in using purchasing and inventory software
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience in the aluminum or hardware industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
The schedule entails daily attendance on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM and each other Saturday from 8:00 AM till 12:45 PM.
