Job Summary:
An AC Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and related equipment. The role ensures systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair air conditioning systems, including split units, central AC, and duct systems
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning filters, coils, and ducts
Check refrigerant levels and recharge systems when necessary
Inspect and test system performance to ensure proper operation
Replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Provide customer support and explain maintenance procedures
Maintain records of service, repairs, and installations
