Thermaltake is expanding its product line of luxury computer cases with the new Shark line, which is dominated by several shark fin-shaped recesses, an all-aluminum construction and blue-tuned lighting. Unlike previous models, the Shark series is one of the fulltower or, if you want, big-tower cabinets, with increased interior space, irresistible design and traditionally really varied equipment. The front panel, which, like the entire cabinet, is all-aluminum, consists of a massive door that covers not only the positions of the mechanics, but also the complete front side, including the breaths for the fans. There is a noticeable blue curve in the door molding, which, like other parts inside the cabinet, lightly illuminates the otherwise dark black panel, which has moldings resembling shark gills and a metallic shiny grille for air ventilation. When opened, the door conceals a total of seven open positions for optical or magnetic drives, control and information panels and similar accessories, which differs from middletower cabinets, which typically have a maximum of six of these positions. Of these seven holes, two are 3.5 "and the remaining five - as usual - are 5.25". Below them, of course, there is a switch button and control diodes. From the right side, there is access to two USB connectors, audio input / output for connecting headphones and a microphone, and even a Firewire connector. On the other hand, the situation is more interesting in terms of design. The traditional viewing window here is in the form of two shark fins, which are not filled with glass, but with a wire mesh, through which the light of the blue backlit components inside the cabinet penetrates. The side panel is attached to the hinges, so it can be conveniently opened with a "handle". Like the front panel, this side panel is lockable. In addition to the rich space, the interior layout offers a lot. Probably the biggest advantage of this cabinet is the removable base plate pad for the ATX format, which you can conveniently install outside the cabinet and then simply insert inside. It is also more convenient to install PCI / AGP cards, which can be installed without the use of screws. It is also possible to install disk drives for which a rack with a total of five positions is prepared. The discs are also installed almost without the use of screws - special rails are mounted on the disc, with which the disc simply "clicks" into the cabinet. The placement is very handy - the disks are installed perpendicular to the cabinet, so that during their assembly / disassembly, data or power cables, or expansion cards will no longer interfere. The relatively light cabinet weighing less than 7 kg is equipped with two fans - each with a diameter of 120 mm, which have a reduced speed of 1400 / minute and are almost inaudible at noise levels, in addition to the folding legs, which contribute to the stability of the cabinet. The first is located in the front lower part of the cabinet, the second, backlit by a blue diode, then at the back under the position of the power supply. However, the cabinet is not equipped with a power supply, it is necessary to buy it. The cabinet is fully compatible with the Thermaltake Liquid Cooling System, which fits comfortably into the cabinet and is recommended for use.
