Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Clearance Agent to join our team. The Customs Clearance Agent will be responsible for facilitating the smooth clearance of goods through customs checkpoints for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and minimizing the risk of delays or penalties.
Responsibilities:
Customs Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate documentation. Liaise with officials for clearance and permits. Classify goods and calculate duties.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on customs regulations. Coordinate for clearances and permits.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documents.
Customer Service: Assist clients promptly and professionally. Keep clients informed about procedures and changes.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or a similar role is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using logistics and tracking software “Najem software”
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Working Hours:
8:00AM – 4:00PM
Benefits:
Salary range based on experience 800$ - 900$.
