Description
Siemens EQ.300 - This is Siemens’ entry-level fully automatic bean-to-cup machine. Think “simple, reliable, coffee-shop drinks without the complexity”.
Key specs + what it’s like to use:
Coffee & Drinks
OneTouch button: Makes espresso, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato with one press.
sensoFlow system: Keeps water at optimal brewing temp ∼92°C for consistent taste.
ceramic grinder: 5 grind levels. Quieter than steel and doesn’t burn beans.
cup sizes: Adjustable from small espresso 30ml up to 220ml for mug coffee.
DoubleCup: Can make 2 cups of coffee/espresso at once, but not 2 milk drinks at once.
Milk system
EQ.300 comes in 2 versions:
EQ.300 classic: Has a manual milk frother “steam pipe”. You steam milk yourself in a jug. More control, but takes practice.
EQ.300 with milk container: Has Siemens “milk container system” that auto-froths and pours milk. Less mess, better if you drink lots of lattes.
Design + Controls
Button controls + small display: Not touchscreen like EQ.6/EQ.9. Very simple - good if you don’t want menus.
Aroma cup tray: Top surface warms your cups.
Bean hopper: 260g capacity. Water tank 1.7L.
Height adjustable spout: 10cm to 14.5cm, so fits espresso cups up to travel mugs.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Removable brew unit: You can take it out and rinse under tap weekly - big plus for hygiene.
Auto rinse + calc’nClean: Machine rinses itself on/off and walks you through descaling.
Removable drip tray + grounds container for easy emptying.
Pros:
Much cheaper than EQ.6/EQ.9 but still has ceramic grinder + sensoFlow
Simple buttons = less to go wrong
Removable brew unit - Miele/De’Longhi entry models often don’t have this
Quiet grinder
